Dr. Jafri grew up in Southern California. He attended UC Irvine where he received his bachelor’s degree in microbiology and immunology. He then attended Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA where he received his doctorate in osteopathic medicine. Thereafter he completed his residency in adult neurology at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI. He returned to Southern California to work as a general neurologist. His clinical interests include vascular neurology and behavioral neurology. His academic interests include the philosophy of medicine, narrative medicine, and the intersection of medicine and theology. For fun, he enjoys basketball, bicycling, camping, photography, and reading.
